July 1 Update

Due to state and county orders and the rising of COVID-19 cases, the City is delaying the reopening of the Senior Center indefinitely. The City Council will re-evaluate the reopening plans every two weeks. We miss you all and want you to stay safe so that we can be together again when the time is right.

The Hurst Senior Activities Center opened on November 9, 2009. Our 27,500 square foot state-of-the-art facility offers a wide variety of arts and crafts, educational, leisure and fitness programs. Our facility features a 2,500 square foot fitness room complete with elliptical machines, treadmills and a circuit series. In addition to the fitness room, the café is a great place to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, pastries, and conversation. The game room is perfect for playing bridge, 42, pinochle, and dominoes, just to name a few. The multipurpose room hosts a large, wood dance floor and seating for over 300 guests.
