Brookside Center

Brookside CenterThe Brookside Center, 1244 Brookside Drive, is available for rental by the public or private organizations when scheduled activities or classes are not in session. The Brookside Center can be rented for activities such as meetings, luncheons, banquets, and receptions. It is approximately 3,885 square feet and has the capacity for 234 people.

The center is equipped with a full kitchen, including a dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, and ice machine. It also has a wood burning fireplace as well as a podium, sound system, and video screen. Included are twenty-eight 60” round tables, twenty-four 6’ rectangular tables and 200 chairs. Rental fees are extremely reasonable, rental time slots/periods are listed below along with the cancellation policy. For more information on renting the Brookside Center, please call 817.788.7320.

Brookside Rental Fees & Cancellation Policy

All reservations must be made in person at the Recreation Division Administrative office during regular business hours (Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm and Tuesday/Thursday from 8:00am to 6:00pm) All rental fees must be paid in full at the time of reservation.

Cancellation Policy:

Date or Time Slot Changes: $25 administrative fee for each change.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, & Holiday Rentals:

  • Cancellation 90 or more days prior to event: Full refund of all fees paid minus $25 administrative fee.
  • Cancellation 31 to 89 days prior to event: 50% refund of all fees paid.
  • Cancellation 30 or less days prior to event: No refund.

Monday through Thursday Rentals:

  • Cancellation 10 or more business days prior to event: Full refund of all fees paid minus $25 administrative fee.
  • Cancellation 6 to 9 business days prior to event: 50% refund of all fees paid.
  • Cancellation of 5 or less business days prior to event: No refund.

Please note that no alcoholic beverages are allowed in the facility or on the premises, including the parking areas. Additionally, the use of any tobacco products is prohibited in the Center. Room set-up and clean-up are the responsibility of the renter.

Recreation Center Meeting Rooms

The Hurst Recreation Center meeting rooms, located at 700 Mary Dr., are available for rental by the public or private organizations when regularly scheduled recreation activities or classes are not in session. The room(s) will be scheduled on a first come/first served basis for single reservations The capacity for each room is 35 people.
