Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA)

The City of Hurst has partnered with Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA) since 2013. SWLA is a HomeServe company, providing home repair solutions to cover unexpected repair costs for items like water and sewer service lines. They have partnered with over 1,350 municipalities across North America, earning a strong reputation for reliable service. 

Homeowners have an opportunity to add protection against the cost and inconvenience of repairs needed to water and sewer service lines, which are typically not covered by standard homeowners insurance or by the City of Hurst. Participation in the program is entirely voluntary. Those enrolled in the program have the option to cover one or both service lines.

Homeowners enrolled in the program can access a 24/7 emergency repair hotline to have local, reliable contractors dispatched to their homes. Repairs are completed with no deductibles or service fees on covered items, up to the plan benefit amount. 

SWLA will occasionally mail letters to residents to inform them about this program. The City of Hurst has given permission to include our logo to show our endorsement of this program. This program has proven to save enrolled residents thousands of dollars when needing service line repairs.
