National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much, much more.

Our next National Night Out event will take place on October 7, 2025. Events may be scheduled to start from 4 p.m. and ending no later than 10 p.m. To register your block party, fill out the online registration form. If you require your street to be blocked, please contact Public Works at 817-788-7076 for a permit application. Fees will be waived.
