Heritage Village Plaza is located in Southwest Hurst at 841 W. Pipeline Road. Established in 2009, Heritage Village Plaza sits on 1.2 acres and is conveniently located adjacent to the 45 acre Hurst Community Park. Heritage Village Plaza is open daily from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. This Plaza connects the new Hurst Senior Citizens Activity Center and the new Fire Station # 2, part of the City of Hurst’s Transforming Hurst Initiative.
The Plaza has two decorative water fountains, several picnic tables and benches, and three covered arbors. The sidewalk winds around the plaza and is 1/8 of mile. The Plaza is extensively landscaped with drought tolerant, native plant materials.
The William D. Souder Pavilion is available for rental to the public. All pavilions are under the jurisdiction of the Hurst Parks and Recreation Department and may be reserved on a space available basis by individuals, organizations, and churches for a $50.00 fee (electrical outlets included) per pavilion. All reservations must be made in person at the Recreation Department office during regular business hours (Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m and Tuesday/Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.).
