Please help us keep your dog park open! Parks staff has noticed an increase in digging at the park. Digging is not allowed as it presents a safety hazard for dogs and humans. Plus, it makes the park look neglected. Please remain vigilant with your dog at all times. If you notice digging, please fill in the hole before leaving. As the Poop Fairy isn’t available, humans should pick up after their dog and dispose of the bags in the cans provided. Dog waste doesn’t biodegrade like wild animal waste and can create a toxic environment for dogs. We appreciate everyone’s assistance in keeping the Hurst Dog Park clean and safe for all users.
Additionally, we appreciate everyone's help in reporting maintenance concerns by utilizing the 'Where We Live' app, or calling 817.788.7222. For everyone's health and safety, please view or download a complete list of rules or the monthly maintenance schedule for the Hurst Dog Park.
The Hurst Dog Park is completely fenced in and features three different runs. The runs divide the dogs into 'large' and 'small' dogs for comfort and safety. Each run has a water station with a dog bowl, a bottle filler for the humans, and a dog wash hose for those dogs who like to get muddy! Pet waste stations are located throughout each run so that humans can pick up after their beloved pooch. Please help us keep your Hurst Dog Park clean for everyone to visit.
