Athletics
The City of Hurst places a strong emphasis on fitness, wellness, and active lifestyles through its outstanding parks and recreation amenities. Hurst Parks & Recreation maintains adult softball and basketball leagues, USTA adult and youth leagues at the Hurst Tennis & Pickleball Center, and hosts local youth sports associations in the city's multiple athletics complexes.
Adult Basketball Leagues
The Hurst Recreation Center is the place to be for men’s basketball leagues, bringing together competition, energy, and community in a fun indoor setting. Players of all skill levels hit the court to enjoy fast-paced games, stay active, and connect with friends and teammates. With leagues offered in the spring, summer, fall, and winter, there are year-round opportunities to get in the game and enjoy the action each season.

The City of Hurst’s softball leagues bring fun, friendly competition, and community spirit to the ballfield all year long at the Hurst Athletic Complex. With men’s, women’s, co-ed, and church leagues available, there is a place for every team to join the action and enjoy the game.
Teams & players are expected to provide all items needed for playing, such as bats, gloves, jerseys, and more. Materials must abide by USA Softball Certified Equipment Rules. Click here to check equipment listings on the USA Softball website.
