Park Opening Details

The parks playgrounds are now open! Outdoor basketball and sand volleyball courts are also open. All park trails and restrooms have opened as well. Please continue to bring your own water as fountains will remain off. Park users are encouraged to follow best practices for personal protection. The Parks Division is responsible for the planning, maintenance and operation of all parkland, park facilities and infrastructure, municipal aquatic centers, athletic complexes, grounds at City facilities, well sites, medians, and right-of-ways. 

2018 Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan

Hurst updated its Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan. This document helps the City set priorities for parks, recreation facilities, and open spaces for the next 5-10 years.
