City of Hurst Volunteers In ActionThe City of Hurst Volunteers in Action Program (VIA) has been an integral part of city government operations for decades. The volunteer program plays a key role as the City of Hurst grows and is required to maintain and meet the expanding service needs of the community. The volunteer work force is a valuable resource that provides each City department with a viable alternative when addressing future staffing needs.

Library Volunteers
Hurst public Library has several ongoing as well as special event volunteer opportunities. Information on how to become a volunteer is available on the VIA Program page.
