Bluebonnet Reading Club
Caregivers and children in grades 3-6 will read one chapter book on the Bluebonnet Award list each month. We'll meet on the third Tuesday of every month to discuss it. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is required.
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless. Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes you can repeat books) before your precious one starts kindergarten. Track on paper or in Beanstack.
Bespoke Subscription Service
Sign up and take our questionnaire! Librarians select three items we think you’d like each month based on your preferences. We call you and let you know your items are ready at the start of each month. Let us know how you liked your curated subscription!
2025 Reading Challenge
Your favorite yearly reading challenge is back, and it's better than ever! We’ve got some new prompts, some new prizes, and a new way to participate: you can either go the traditional route with our paper reading log (available at the Info and Youth desks) or go digital with Beanstack! (Hint: if you participated in HEB Reads! Summer Reading Challenge last year, you already have a Beanstack login.)
