Fiscal Services is responsible for the administration of the City's financial affairs in accordance with ordinances enacted by the City Council, state law and rules established by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board.

Fiscal Services provides accounting control over the finances of the City, collects and disburses City funds, invests idle funds until needed, manages the City's debt service obligations, oversees all purchasing activity, and has programs designed to protect City assets.

Fiscal Services is also responsible for the preparation of the City's annual budget and consolidated annual financial report.
