Invasive Visual Recording Arrest - May 14, 2026

Post Date:05/14/2026 4:10 p.m.

On April 24, 2026, Hurst officers responded to a 911 call for service at Aeropostale in North East Mall (1101 Melbourne Rd.), about a report of a hidden camera in the dressing room. Officers arrived and met with two young females who had located a small, partially hidden camera in the dressing room. Upon locating the camera, they took the camera, left the store, and contacted the police. The camera was turned over to detectives who had the camera processed.

Investigators later confirmed the camera had captured invasive visual recordings. During review of these images, a suspect was identified.

On May 14, 2026 at 10 a.m., an arrest warrant for the suspect, identified as Caleb Leonard (23 years old), was issued. Caleb was arrested at his residence without incident. A search warrant was obtained and additional evidence was collected.

Caleb, an employee of Aeropostale who had been on administrative leave since the initial call, was charged with Invasive Visual Recording and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

If anyone has additional information or believes they may have been improperly recorded, please contact the Hurst Police Department at 817-788-7166.
