Responsibilities and Services

Working at the direction of the City Manager and City Council, the City of Hurst Marketing and Communication Division serves as the central point of contact for marketing and communication activities citywide.

The Division is responsible for:

  • maintaining the City website
  • production of the Where We Live magazine
  • City of Hurst social media channels
  • media relations
  • crisis communication
  • cable channel and streaming video
  • production of the Water Quality Report
  • marketing campaigns
  • graphic design
  • advertising
  • video production
  • photography

Hurst Taco Trail - Check in, earn points, win prizes!

We have a fun, new way to explore Hurst! Start your journey along the Hurst Taco Trail by visiting each featured taqueria and earn the ultimate bragging rights for completing the circuit. The first 50 taco adventurers to finish the trail will receive an exclusive, commemorative Hurst Taco Trail prize delivered right to their door. How to access the Taco Trail –

Visit hursttx.gov/Explore to access the Taco Trail. When you arrive at the location, select it and check in using geolocation services.
