Responsibilities and Services

Working at the direction of the City Manager and City Council, the City of Hurst Marketing and Communication Division serves as the central point of contact for marketing and communication activities citywide.

The Division is responsible for:

  • maintaining the City website
  • production of the Where We Live magazine
  • City of Hurst social media channels
  • media relations
  • crisis communication
  • cable channel and streaming video
  • production of the Water Quality Report
  • marketing campaigns
  • graphic design
  • advertising
  • video production
  • photography

With the OnSolve's CodeRED Emergency Notification System, the City of Hurst has the ability to notify the entire City or only the affected areas of the City about emergency situations in a matter of minutes. The system is available to all Hurst residents free of charge.

It is ok to update your information even if you have had the same address and number for several years. This will allow us to make sure the information is correct.

Utility Billing Payment Portal featured on Computer Screen

Our new Utility Billing Payment Portal is now available! This new system will help you stay informed, pay your bill, and understand your usage whenever it's convenient for you. You can view and manage your utility account, all in one place.

Here's what you can do - 

My Account

  • View and update your contact information.
  • Link more than one account if you have multiple properties.
  • Save your preferred payment method for later use.

Billing and Payments

  • Set up Autopay or choose to make a one-time payment.
  • Pay your bill online, by text, or phone.
  • See your current balance and payment history anytime.

Usage Information

  • View your daily or monthly water usage.
  • Compare your usage changes over time.

Notifications and Alerts

  • Get updates when your bill is ready.
  • Receive alerts about high usage or unusual activity.
  • Stay notified about important account messages.

Visit hursttx.gov/payments to access the new portal. When registering for the new customer portal, be sure to check your spam folder for emails related to your account.
