October 7, 2025
6-9 p.m.
Hurst communities are invited to participate in this year’s National Night Out event on October 7! We encourage neighborhoods to turn on outdoor lights, or plan activities like cook-outs or block parties.
National Night Out is designed to:
- Emphasize community members getting to know each other and taking a vested interest in the security of their neighborhood
- Promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie
- Generate support and participation for local anti-crime programs
- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
If you plan to host a neighborhood gathering, be sure to register by visiting hursttx.gov/NNO.
Registration is free, and it gives the police department, fire department, and other city representatives an opportunity to attend your community’s gathering. We look forward to connecting with you again during National Night Out this year!
Together, we are making communities safer, more caring places to live and work.
