DESCRIPTION:<p>Bring your household hazardous waste to the Service Center along with an ID and Hurst water bill.</p><div><h2>Accepted items:</h2><ul>    <li>Automotive fluids (10 gallon limit)</li>    <li>Batteries</li>    <li>Cleaners &amp; degreasers</li>    <li>Cooking oil</li>    <li>Lawn/garden/pool chemicals</li>    <li>Light bulbs</li>    <li>Paint (limited to three five-gallon containers)</li></ul><h2>Not Accepted:</h2><ul>    <li>Ammunition or explosives</li>    <li>Appliances or electronics</li>    <li>Building materials</li>    <li>Bulk trash and yard waste</li>    <li>Butane or propane cylinders</li>    <li>Medicines or sharps</li>    <li>Tires</li></ul><p>Document shredding will be available. Three box limit, no larger than 15" x 12" x 10" accepted. Due to limited capacity for document shredding, this service will be provided on a first come, first served basis.&nbsp;</p><p>6 Stones will be on-site collecting clothing donations from Hurst residents.</p><p>Concern for proper disposal of Household Hazardous Waste and other potential surface water pollutants is a concern to all.&nbsp;Should you become aware of any improper disposal of any stormwater or surface water pollutant, call the City’s hotline at 817-788-7212. Information on stormwater management can be found at hursttx.gov/stormwatermanagement.&nbsp;</p></div>
