Join us for our annual Fire Department Open House at Fire Station 1! At our fun and safe family-friendly open house, we show demonstrations on what a firefighter job looks like, have activities for kids, and various firefighter equipment on display. Local businesses and medical facilities will also be there, passing out information and goodies. There will be hot dogs and drinks provided. View the list of local vendors below.

There is a critical need for blood donations right now. Please consider donating blood at our Fire Open House. Make an appointment here, or walk-ins are welcome on the day of the event. They will also be giving away a magnetic phone charger to those who donate!
Hurst Animal Services and Adoption Center
Donations play a vital role in helping our local shelter provide essential medical care, food, and a safe, comfortable environment for these animals as they wait for their forever homes. By adopting and donating, you are helping us create a better future for every animal in our care. They accept donations like pet beds, collars, toys, dry and wet food, and more. North East Emergency Distribution (N.E.E.D.) Food Pantry
This faith-based non-profit organization's sole mission is to provide short-term emergency assistance. N.E.E.D. will be on site to collect canned goods and non-perishable food items. They will also be accepting monetary donations.
