Ready to refresh your creative space? Join us for I Give a Scrap, a community recycling event designed to keep usable materials out of landfills and in the hands of makers! Whether you have half-skeins of yarn, extra beads, or paper scraps, this swap is the perfect way to declutter your studio and find "new-to-you" treasures.
How it Works:
Early Drop-Off (Starting August 17): Bring your clean, gently used supplies to the information desk. As a thank-you for contributing early, you will receive an Early-Access Ticket, allowing you to shop the tables for 30 minutes before the event opens to the general public.
The Swap: All donated items—such as pens, markers, fabric, clay, stamps, and scrapbooking kits—will be organized on tables for participants to browse and take home.
A Second Life: We believe in zero waste. Any unclaimed supplies at the end of the event will be considered a donation to the Library. These items will either be integrated into our own creative programs or donated to a local partner organization to support community art projects.
Give your "scraps" a second chance and meet fellow creators in the process!
