The Hurst Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association puts this fundraiser on in support of the Hurst Fire Department. All funds go to purchasing non-budgeted safety equipment. The dinner, catered by Outback Steak House, has proven a wonderful event for all who attend and effectively supports our First Responders. This event has allowed the alumni to purchase items such as; light weight Bunker Gear that helps during our hot summers, a Mini Ambulance for assisting individuals injured at one of our athletic fields, Electric Jaws of Life for our responders to reduce the time it takes to extricate a victim from a vehicle and a Fire Safety Training Trailer used at all elementary schools in Hurst each year.
