Wan-Ka-Kani Park

  • Wan-Ka-Kani Park is located in the Southwest part of Hurst. 
  • This park sits on 4.1 acres and was established in 1976. Wan-Ka-Kani got it's name from and Indian word for "to be outdoors." 
  • The park was originally used as a bird and wildlife sanctuary.
  • Many varieties of birds and wildlife still make their home there today. 
  • Wan-Ka-kani is open daily from 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
