Councilmember (Place 5)
Councilmember Bill McLendon was elected to the Hurst City Council on May 6, 2000, and has been a resident for over thirty-three years. He previously served on the Parks and Recreation Board for twelve years and the Planning and Zoning Commission for eight years. He serves as a member of the HEB Economic Development Foundation, the Hurst Crime Control District Board, the Hurst Community Services Development Corporation, and the Northeast Leadership Forum. He is a retired executive with over thirty-five years in the food manufacturing industry.
